We have packed the combined experience of 7 years of development and thousands of tons of fruit harvested into a new series. The 5th series of the fruit harvester OBSTRAUPE comes in two ways: Firstly, as established, with an e-bike battery and electric motor and secondly - now new - drill powered. The 2 versions are compatible with each other, so you can also buy and replace the drive module later. Both models are suitable for standard boxes of up to 18cm. Practical folding boxes are available as standard for even better work processes. The new, optimized grass wrap protection now comes with a sharp blade.
The OBSTRAUPE is a fruit harvesting machine that collects fruit and nuts quickly and carefully and meets the specific requirements of orchards and their farmers. A simple, effective and well thought-out innovation in the tradition of a "good tool".
GENTLE TO FRUIT
Flexible fins on the collection roller brush fruits and nuts gently off the meadow and push them into the fruit crate over a guiding plate.
1,000 KG PER HOUR
With the fruit harvester you can harvest up to 1,000 kg/h / 2,200 lbs of apples and pears or up to 400 kg/h / 880 lbs of fresh walnuts.
SUITABLE FOR UNEVEN TERRAIN
The fruit harvester maneuvers easily even through dense tree stands, picks fruit even out of hollows or from the base of trunks, while harvesting both forwards and backwards.
SMART LEAF BRUSH
Fruit and nuts pass the leaf brush in flight, leaves and grass get caught and fall back onto the meadow through the gap.
FOR THE SLOPE
When self-propelled harvesters have to stop on steep slopes, the OBSTRAUPE fruit picking machine is used. This agile device can harvest parallel to the slope on slopes of up to 25%.
COMPACT
With only 33 kg / 73 lbs the harvest machine can be folded up and lifted easily alone or in twos, and even transports neatly in the trunk of a car.
BATTERY POWER
The E-Bike battery of the Obstraupe 05+ maintains a consistently high performance with up to 700 Wh power (48V - 14.5 Ah) for a strong harvest day of up to 6 hours.
Or with the Obstraupe 05 you can use your own cordless screwdriver and use your existing batteries twice.

Our fruit picking machine was developed for the real demands of orchard cultivation and has been successfully used by over 1,500 customers since 2018. The battery-powered harvester is ideal for stocks with an annual harvest of up to 30 tons of pome fruit. OF THE OBSTRAUPE
By purchasing the fruit picker, you are investing in an effective and enjoyable harvest without back pain, so it pays for itself from day one. The fruit picker is available from €2,000 net. The investment pays for itself after 1-2 years - depending on the price of fruit and the amount harvested (approx. 10-25t of pome fruit at €30-10/dt) and our fruit picking machine will serve for many years. The costs for ongoing operation are marginal for the battery-powered device. The machine's cost price for the fruit picker set with sorting! is around €4/h, and for comparable devices from competitors it is around €25/h (source: oekl.at).
